Are you thinking about applying for teacher training in Portsmouth? Want to start in September 2025 but unsure if you've left it too late? Don't worry! There are still places available and it's not too late to embark on a new adventure into the world of education this year.  

Events and webinars are a great way to learn more about a training provider, especially if you are still deciding on the best route for you.

University of Portsmouth

  • Webinar | Tuesday 3 June 2025 | 5pm - 7pm 

The University of Portsmouth is hosting a series of webinars designed to start you on the path to becoming a teacher. Whether you're interested in primary, secondary, or further education, attend virtually on Tuesday 3 June to learn about their teacher training courses. 

The director of initial teacher training at the university will introduce their courses, and you can then choose a breakout room to discuss your options in greater depth.   


Fareham and Gosport SCITT

  • In person | Monday 9 June | 6pm - 7pm 

Fareham and Gosport SCITT is hosting an open event for anyone wanting to become a primary school teacher.

The event will give you the opportunity to learn more about the training programmes and what to expect on the course. Find out about the interview process and get top tips on how to prepare your application.

University of Chichester

  • In-person | Saturday 21 June 2025 | 9:30am - 3:00pm 

The University of Chichester is hosting an open day in June, inviting prospective students onto campus to learn about their courses, including teacher training.
